[/size][/blockquote][/blockquote]Music had always been a big part of Aaron's life and when he finally got his dream job, he thought he had everything. That was, until he met Serenity Tanner. The fresh nineteen year old walked into the studio, blonde hair flowing and a bright smile on her face. The only thing that was more perfect than her looks, was her voice. The girl sung like an angel. Almost immediately Aaron could swear he was in love.**three years later**
Ten hours of labor was too much for the small twenty-two year old Serenity. Her frail body couldn't take the pressure and soon after her baby girl was born, the drug addict passed on. Her beautiful green eyes remaining wide open gazing at her baby girl who had just been placed in her arms. As her husband sobbed at her side, the baby began to cry. After the doctors let Aaron say his good-bye to his wife, the man stood in the ICU, just staring down at his new baby girl, but instead of gazing at her with love like other fathers looked at the newborns, he glared with a sort of fire in his eyes. In his eyes, she was the reason for all his misery. Thus, that became her name. Misery.
For several years, after their move to America, Aaron did his best to care for his child, as that's what he thought his wife would have wanted, but eventually, he just couldn't put his heart into it and everything went down hill from there. The man began to resent his child even more. By the time MJ was twelve and in the fifth grade, the man began to spend less and less time at home. He'd venture out into the night, leaving her to take care of herself. Aaron would come back during the early morning hours, dunk as could be. His only response to her words, was the back of his hand.
As the days passed, his drinking and beatings got worse. Eventually, the young Misery decided it was best not to be there when he came back from his night out, thus she began to venture by herself... which wasn't very wise to a fifteen year old. Soon enough, the inevitable happened. On her way home one night, Misery ran into a group of boys, at least two years her senior. The night grew rough and Misery became a victim of the worse thing that could possibly happen to a young girl... rape. Naturally, she was too scared to say anything and didn't return to the safety of her house for several days.
When she finally did return home, everything seemed to return back to normal. Her father didn't care and she was left to fend for herself. But, as the months passed, something didn't seem right. Every morning when Anya woke up, she'd end up sick on the bathroom floor for a good hour. She'd get all these weird cravings for foods like pickles and mangos. Day by day, all of this would get worse... and her frail figure was gaining weight. As much as she didn't want to believe it, she had a feeling she was pregnant.
Then, just when she thought things couldn't get worse, they did. For once in her life, her father noticed something. He noticed that as each month passed, she was growing, and I don't mean in height. Now, most fathers would want to try and kill the boy that did this to their daughter, but to Aaron, it was different. In his eyes, she did this to make his life even more like a hell on Earth. So, it was decided. After her baby was born, she was to leave his life and never come back.
At only the fresh age of sixteen, Misery Johnson gave birth to Mikey Ryan Johnson, and soon afterwards, she was kicked out of her home and her father's life. It was then that she took every bit of money she had saved up over the last nine months and took shelter in an old abandoned building on the North side of town and began to build herself a life. Every day, she still attends school, leaving Mikey behind at a friend's house, though her once soft shell has now hardened through all of what she's been through. Though one of the smartest kids in her school, she's possibly doing the worst out of everyone in the entire school. Guess that's what happens when you have a kid you have to put before everything else.
