One of the nicest hotel chains in America, the Hyatt Place is located by the mall, near the airport. It has top-notch rooms, and transportation for guests staying there.

The central area of Roanoke. Downtown Roanoke houses many different catering options, as well as various places that offer entertainment as well. It is situated below Mill Mountain, with the Star overlooking it.

A chain of restaurants centered in Roanoke, they have become a restaurant awarded multiple times by the Roanoker magazine, which has awards for pretty much everything good. It has good food, and cheap prices.

The main attraction of Downtown Roanoke, it hosts the farmer's market, the African Museum of Art, The Science Museum, and the Museum of History, among other things. The central place for food and fun.

The best place to get groceries around Roanoke, the Wal-Mart here is located just by the mall. Convenient, eh? Every city needs a Wal-Mart, and this one has it. Come on by!

In need of some cheap foods? Or maybe some extra gas? Kroger has it. Kroger fulfills all of your supermarket needs, as well as some of the cheapest gas in town.

The landmark mountain of Roanoke Valley. It has a host of paths leading from the base to the top.

A large star that stand atop Mill Mountain. Also known as the Roanoke Star, it's the largest man-made, illuminated, free-standing star in the world. Many people come here to just joke around, or even just hang with friends. It's a lovely place at night to be.

Host to a large selection of animals, the zoo is located on the mountain, below the famous star. It has a small train that runs around the zoo, and a variety of different animals.

The host to many different events, this is the central place for theatre and various concerts and shows. Many local animal shows and carnivals are held here.

A large park that hosts a variety of different fields and equipment. There are two wooden playgrounds. The smaller one for younger children, the large for the older ones. Many fields are spread around the area, and an exercise obstacle course is set around them.

This is where the Lording Red Eagles and the Lucy Madison Huskies play football. Yes, it's the home stadium to both teams. During games, a large amount of police are everywhere, watching for sabotage.
